‘She’s Gotta Go’ is the debut single from Toni Sherwood’s first solo album STOP! This song is about a woman taking control of her life and expressing what she wants.

A strong believer in “reaping what you sow”, Toni knows what she wants. She wants it all!

A native of Montreal, Toni not only holds a degree in fashion marketing, she was also part of well known Canadian duo “11:30”, with her twin sister, and in 2000/2001 had a top ten hit in Canada called ‘Ole, Ole’.

“11:30”s success brought her many opportunities to travel across Canada and North Africa. The duo was also invited by the Canadian government to perform 6 nights at the 2000 Olympics in Sidney, Australia for over 10,000 athletes from across the world.

As an artist with a keen and well-trained ear for powerful magnetic melodies, Toni was intensely involved in every aspect of STOP’s creation. “I knew exactly how I wanted this album to sound; I’ve been hearing it in my head for a long time.”

There are two words Toni stands by in her life: INTERGRETY and RESPONSIBILITY. She wants to be recognized for both. Integrity is to stand by what she believes in, knowing full well that life’s experiences will change her and mold her into the woman she wants to become. Responsibility is to be able to provide, in this day and age, a role model for young women that is real, genuine and positive.

The title song of the album STOP is a song about saving our planet, ONE IN SILENCE talk about child abuse, YOU AND I BELONG is the acceptance of “The One” in one’s life and SHE’S GOTTA GO, the first single on the album is an empowering song for young women everywhere.
